Listening Challenge #2

Somehow lost the link for # 2, so this is the new #2, and I hope to get that other one back soon.

Tristan LeGovic - Tristan just played a festival at the Isle of Wight - of course it was recorded, and from his house. The whole thing is at this link, but the listening challenge part is at the 30 minute mark, and check out that amazing piece "Hugging the Flowers". Show off some theory genius at work!

Then go back and see it all if you've the time, including the introduction of the town they're in - I'm thinking it may be my next harp festival travel - wow -

I fell in love with Tristan's style at the last IMA Harp & Cello school. This tune is amazing! So many change ups. Love the jazzy sound. I have questions about the way he plays. Marilyn, we have to talk!

Awesome to hear Tristan playing this gorgeous music. He brings new beauty from the sound of the harp. Hope there will come a time when I can hear him, in person, at Wells.

Always fascinating to watch Tristan. Such amazing hands! I felt transported to a Southern Garden and swinging along to the beat. Is there anything he can't do on a harp??? When I have a bit more time I'll watch the entire concert. Thanks for finding this for us!

I loved watching his big, relaxed hands with all those damped bass notes.
